Dr. Majid treats patients with all orthopaedic problems, but has special expertise in spine disorders and additional training in the surgical and non surgical care of low back and neck problems.

Dr. Majid received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania – Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and completed residency training in orthopaedics at State University New York, Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Majid completed fellowship training in spine surgery at the William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Dr. Majid is a member of the North American Spine Society, the Scoliosis Research Society and the Cervical Spine Research Society. He earned the Best Research Presentation award for his work on bone morphogenetic proteins and spinal fusions.
