Michael J. Sicuranza, M.D.
Dr. Sicuranza is both a sports medicine specialist and a hand specialist. He has become widely known for his involvement with local sports medicine professionals and athletes. Michael J. Sicuranza, M.D. received his medical education at the University of Maryland Medical School. He completed residency training in orthopaedics at Creighton-Nebraska Universities Health Foundation. He completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Hand Surgery at the University of Virginia and at the Kentucky Sports Medicine Clinic, Lexington. Dr. Sicuranza is actively involved with high school, college, and community sports events. Specializing in arthroscopic techniques, the focuses of his practice are sports medicine and knee and shoulder surgery. He has special interest in repair of damaged knee cartilage and solutions for the early arthritic knee.
