Dr. Etienne is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint-preservation and joint replacement techniques.

In July 2005, OSS welcomed Dr. Etienne to the expanding practice. Dr. Etienne is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint-preservation and joint replacement techniques. He has been in practice for four years and actively involved in the development and improvement of joint treatment options as well as new techniques and implant designs. Dr. Etienne specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of joint pain that affects the hip, knee and shoulder.

He earned his medical degree from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Dr. Etienne completed his residency in orthopaedics at the State University of New York and a post-residency fellowship in joint reconstruction at The Johns Hopkins University Medical Institutions. Dr. Etienne is Board Certified in Orthopaedics by the Ortho Academy.

Dr. Etienne is dedicated to helping his patients achieve a better lifestyle. He often employs conservative treatment methods before surgery, including exercise, weight loss, medications, and injections. If surgery is required, Dr. Etienne guides his patients through the process and makes sure that they understand the procedure, the possible risks, and the recovery. Dr. Etienne ensures that all roles in his practice are maximized to meet his patients' needs. By adopting the Advanced Access model, the motto of his practice is: "The available date for a routine appointment is today!" "I can see all new patients within 48 hours if necessary", says Dr. Etienne. He is willing to avail himself to provide educational seminars for patients and medical staff. He is fluent in French and Creole, besides his modest working knowledge in Spanish. Because of his commitment to high standard of care, Dr. Etienne has worked to establish protocols that produce measurable results.

Dr. Etienne lives with his wife, Manotte, and their two children: 10 year-old, Valliolah ("Vallie") and 7 year-old, van Arsdale ("Dale"). He spends most of his free time playing with his family and participating in church activities. He enjoys most sports and "thinks" that he is a good in Soccer.
